Arun is a serial entrepreneur with experience founding and managing businesses in the United States, India, South Africa and Botswana. Arun’s entrepreneurial journey started at the age of 14 when he founded Virtual Internet Africa in his parent’s garage, and continued when he established Astutant Group in the State of Florida that served over 3,000 clients across the state in taxation, accounting and estate planning. In addition to being the founder and Chief Executive of Alpha Direct Insurance, Arun also serves on the Board of Directors of Flo-Tek Industries, one of the largest plastic pipe and tank manufacturers in Sub-Saharan Africa, and exclusive regional licensee of Lubrizol®. Arun has a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Botswana, a Master of Science (Accounting) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant.
